Print This PageTo support older women and their families along a spectrum of health, education, and advocacy services, CIAIP Grantee, the Supportive Older Women’s Network (SOWN) will receive $1 per ticket sold at the Lilith Fair concert in Philadelphia. At the concert, Lilith Fair, which celebrates women in music through a concert tour of North America, will recognize SOWN as the selected winning charity for Philadelphia. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, July 28 at 5pm at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ.
Founded by Sarah McLachlan, Lilith Fair promotes issues related to women and girls through music, raising over $10M for women’s charities throughout North America. The donated funds will help older women remain independent through SOWN’s innovative community-based and telephone support groups.
